Touchland is a hand sanitizer founded by Andrea Lisbona. It first started selling products online in the U.S. in 2018. Lisbona took eight years to join a startup accelerator, find a solid manufacturing partner to help with equipment and FDA testing, and eventually launch a company called Touchland. Today, Touchland sells what it calls Power Mists: pocket-sized, stylish iPhone-looking hand sanitizer sprays meant to bring a whole new trifecta to the hand sanitizer industry by being aesthetically eye-catching, moisturizing on the hands, and properly disinfecting.[1]

The hand sanitizer comes in six scents including watermelon, aloe vera, and citrus, and one unscented option. Its dermatologist-tested formula includes 67 percent ethyl alcohol (which meets the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations for an effective sanitizer), aloe vera, and essential oils. Touchland says each spray bottle contains over 500 spritzes.[2]

Support to Black Lives Matter

In response to the death of George Floyd, Touchland took to Instagram to share its support. “Enough is enough,” the post read. “This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with justice and basic human rights. We stand in solidarity with those advocating for a better future for all and taking a stance against injustice.” Touchland announced that it will donate 100% of its profits from this weekend to the ACLU.[3]
