Usage
This is a template for describing any U.S. State legislation, including bills that have been proposed, passed, defeated, and superseded/expunged. In editing this template, be aware that a large number of articles may be affected. Please test your changes and undo immediately if they break something.

Required parameters
- State
- Name of the state. This name is used to pull a vector image of the state seal (ex: File:Seal_of_California.svg), link to the state page (ex: California State Legislature), and add the page to the appropriate category (ex: Category:California statutes)
- Full_name
- Name of the legislation (ex: "Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006"). Appears above the state seal.
Optional parameters
- Status
- Status of this legislation. Can be any value. (ex: Proposed, Passed, In force, Ruled unconstitutional, Rejected by Senate Transportation Committee)
- Introduced
- Date the legislation was introduced (ex: January 3, 2018)
- Assembly_Voted
- House_Voted
- Date the house voted
- Signed
- Date the legislation was signed into law
- Sponsors
- Any legislative sponsors
- Governor
- Governor who might have signed or vetoed the law
- Code
- Code this law falls in (ex: "Domestic Relations Law", or the codes in California Codes)
- Section
- Section of law this falls into
- Resolution
- Associated_bills
- URL
- Link to additional bill information and/or information about the law
