Usage

This is a template for describing any U.S. State legislation, including bills that have been proposed, passed, defeated, and superseded/expunged. In editing this template, be aware that a large number of articles may be affected. Please test your changes and undo immediately if they break something.

Required parameters

State
Name of the state. This name is used to pull a vector image of the state seal (ex: File:Seal_of_California.svg), link to the state page (ex: California State Legislature), and add the page to the appropriate category (ex: Category:California statutes)
Full_name
Name of the legislation (ex: "Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006"). Appears above the state seal.

Optional parameters

Status
Status of this legislation. Can be any value. (ex: Proposed, Passed, In force, Ruled unconstitutional, Rejected by Senate Transportation Committee)
Introduced
Date the legislation was introduced (ex: January 3, 2018)
Assembly_Voted
House_Voted
Date the house voted
Signed
Date the legislation was signed into law
Sponsors
Any legislative sponsors
Governor
Governor who might have signed or vetoed the law
Code
Code this law falls in (ex: "Domestic Relations Law", or the codes in California Codes)
Section
Section of law this falls into
Resolution
Associated_bills
URL
Link to additional bill information and/or information about the law
