Template:Reply to Thank you for pointing that out, I have added an image from that category. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 06:00, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Another such question: you need to bold the link to the article subject. I'd do it for you but don't quite know how in this case. One way would be Rolling Stones' concert in Havana. You don't want to link to the group at all, or readers will not click on the concert article ;) - I also restored the "Please do not write below this line ..."-line to its proper location. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:39, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to Thank you for the suggestion, I have implemented it. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 15:47, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Thank you, I bolded it, may review when I need a qpq. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:51, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to Thanks! What do you mean by qpq? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 18:44, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
A QPQ (quid pro quo) is simply when you nominate your own page for DYK, you must review someone else's. If you've done fewer than five DYKs, this does not apply to you yet. Raymie (tc) 19:20, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for responding Template:U, this is indeed my first DYK nomination. Since it qualified for nomination at the time of nomination on the grounds that it was under one week old at the time of nomination, it remains qualified until it is reviewed, even if it takes longer than one week to be reviewed, right? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 20:34, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
It was Raymie who responded, but I would have said just the same. - Once you nominated in time, all is fine, - some reviews take weeks if not months to be completed, but I feel we are in no hurry, no need to meet a certain date, right? I am busy right now, but may return to review one of the next days. Thanks for contributing! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:38, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to Template:Reply to Oops, sorry for tagging the wrong person (my bad). There is no date specifically, I was just wondering. Thank you for confirming that. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 20:49, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to The image put up with this nomination is not related to the concert itself (per the above discussion). Since that is the case, should I just remove the image from the nomination? And by "full review", do you just mean that it needs to be reviewed as it has yet to be? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 00:41, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
  • TheSandDoctor, I just mean that it needs to be reviewed; someone might have looked at the mass of commentary and thought that a review was in progress. There are a couple of things. First, the image not only isn't related to the concert in question, but nominated images have to be free and also included in the article in order to be used for DYK, so it should be removed from the nomination. Also, the article currently only has 1279 prose characters, and will need to be expanded to above 1500 prose characters to be eligible for DYK. You'll want to do that right away, preferably before a reviewer shows up. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:03, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to Thank you for your insight, I have removed the image. I am just wondering though, how are you counting the 1279 characters? Because when I used this and did it, it returned 1619 characters, excluding the track listing, white space, and citations (ie [1]). --TheSandDoctor (talk) 04:25, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
TheSandDoctor, note that DYK only counts prose characters. I use DYKcheck, which is the gold standard, but some other scripts such as prosesizebytes also work. Note that blockquotes do not count as (original) prose (in this case, the Dewey quote in the "Reception" section is not counted), nor do tables or lists such as the Track listing. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:42, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply to Thanks, I have expanded the article content to now satisfy that requirement and will copy edit it further most likely tomorrow. Any other suggestions are welcome. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 05:11, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svgThank you for adjusting and expanding, - it's now long enough. If you can add a bit from the reviews, even better, because to explain God Friday adds to character count, but is probably not needed in the context. - I am not sure about the writing of 500.000 as "500 thousand". We'd need a comma after Cuba if it qualifies Havana. I like the original hook best. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:40, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
So it was approved Template:U? If so, what happens now? Also, are those suggested improvements to the hook or the article (just to clarify)? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 22:22, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
Keep the nomination on your watchlist, then you will see when it gets promoted to a prep(aration area), here, then further to a queue, with a time for appearing attached. Keep looking and enjoy! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:26, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
Template:Reply toJust to clarify, those suggested improvements are for the article, not the hook, right? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 22:42, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
For that article, and the next you write, and 500,000 looks more impressive ;)--Gerda Arendt (talk) 04:46, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
