Initial Review:
Article:
Newness: ☑Y - nominated three days after publishing
Length: ☑Y - 2426 B of prose
Copyvio Check: ☑Y - violation unlikely
Neutrality: ☑Y
Grammar: ???? - I fixed what I could however could you please reword "Yogeshwar grew up in Bangalore and went to primary school there and in Luxembourg"? Does this mean he went to primary school in both Bangalore and Luxembourg? ☑Y
Sources: ???? - Are there more citations you could use to confirm the information present in Ranga Yogeshwar#Career in the media - citation #9 only cites that he gave up the position, not the other information present in the section ☑Y

Hook:
Length: ☑Y
Content: ☑Y - Would the inclusion of he learned some of them in order to communicate with this gardener, housekeeper, etc. fit and sound alright? It is fine as is, but if you feel like including it in an ALT1, then you can.
Neutrality: ☑Y
Source: Template:Yellow tick - The first source is a primary source (his autobiography), but the second one is secondary and acceptable
QPQ: ☑Y

Overall: Symbol question.svg A few issues need to be addressed as described above, also note that Template:U has retired after nominating the article. I will ping him on his talk page in case hes still watching his talk page/this nomination. --Toreightyone (talk) 16:35, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi Template:Ping, thanks for your review. For your first point, I modified the sentence. It appears he indeed did go to primary school in Bangalore and Luxembourg (per [3]: this says he went to primary school in India and Luxembourg, but citation 1, his own book, makes it clear that "India" specifically refers to Bangalore). To be sure, in citation 1 (the Google Books link) you can search for "Ranga Yogeshwar Bangalore" and you'll surely hit upon it. It is indeed all in German, but if you don't speak German, it's in quite simple German that Google Translate can handle.
For your second point, unfortunately I do not have sources readily available; I translated the text following citation 9 directly from the German Wikipedia article. Feel free to ping me again, I'll be lurking around till this WP:FRAM mess is done either way. MikeLynch (talk) 17:36, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
And oh, if you'd think that mentioning the gardener/housekeeper etc. would be (more) interesting than the present hook, let me know and I'll make an ALT1. If not, I won't bother. MikeLynch (talk) 17:42, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
Edit: I found that he mentions some of the shows he moderated on his website, and I added a citation accordingly. MikeLynch (talk) 06:49, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
I figured it would be better suited for an alternative ALT, depending on whichever version the admins promote.
As for the citations, are there possible citations that can be used from de:Ranga Yogeshwar? Toreightyone (talk) 18:47, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
Fair enough, ALT1 looks fine, I’ll add it. Thanks! No citations for those specific parts in the dewiki article either as far as I can see, unfortunately. MikeLynch (talk) 01:14, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
Edit: you were right, there was a source hidden there. Still leaves one line unsourced, but better than two lines unsourced. MikeLynch (talk) 01:30, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
I found a potential citation for the last sentence at [4] (Seit Jahren konfrontiert der Wissenschaftler im übrigen auch Kinder mit Rätseln aus Natur und Technik, stellt beispielsweise Grundschülern in der WDR-Radiosendung "Lillipuz" Fragen zum Mitraten — For years, the scientist has also confronted children with puzzles about nature and technology, asking questions to students in the WDR radio program "Lillipuz"), although it does not explicitly mention his Nusscracker segment. Toreightyone (talk) 22:14, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
Looks great, I can’t find anything online for the Nusscracker segment either. (And thanks for working to find sources, feel free to share credit for this!) MikeLynch (talk) 08:29, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg I think the article is finally ready for promotion, it was a team effort. Toreightyone (talk) 03:06, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Template:Ping You will need to add the hook facts to the article, which does not mention housekeeper, teacher and gardener, if you want to use this hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:08, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
Good catch Template:Ping. I have modified the article accordingly, although my preference is the first hook proposed, not ALT1. MikeLynch (talk) 20:09, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg Replacing tick now that this has been sorted out. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 04:59, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
