Jane Spencer, Baroness Churchill

  • Comment: I'm open to alternate hook ideas, will add QPQ soon. QPQ is Liu Geping

  • Symbol confirmed.svg Article five-folded expanded and nominated in due time. QPQ done. Inline sourced to reliable sources; most of them off-line sources, but I could access one via Questia and didn't spot any close paraphrase problems. I think the hook is OK, I have verified the "longest-served" part, and while I couldn't access the reference for her dying one month before the Queen, that fact is clear from death dates. While not a critical issue for DYK approval , the article suffers from inconsistent use of Churchill/Lady Churchill/Jane in the text. I could have changed it myself but I am not quite sure what will be the correct way to refer her, though probably not Jane. Otherwise fine, GTG. Iselilja (talk) 18:29, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Yeah, it's always a struggle to choose a name when a noble is involved (since among other things their name may change/evolve, and we often need to distinguish therm from a spouse). For clarity's sake, I think I'll make her name more consistent in the article by using just "Churchill" where applicable for her. Thanks for reviewing! Ruby 2010/2013 19:08, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
  •  Done Edited her name for consistency. Ruby 2010/2013 19:12, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
