Forced conversions of Muslims in Spain

Created by HaEr48 (talk). Self-nominated at 07:03, 21 March 2017 (UTC).

  • Symbol confirmed.svg New enough (Article created by HaEr48 on 20 March 2017), long enough (11,719 "readable prose size"), fully referenced. Hook fine, supported by reference. QPQ done. Good to go. Hawkeye7 (talk) 12:21, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
Note that Coleman (2003) is not used in the article. Also: Charles V was Charles I in Aragon. Hawkeye7 (talk) 12:21, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, Template:Userlink. Removed coleman (2003) from the list of references. I am aware that Charles is Charles I of Aragon/Spain - but given that he's better known as Charles V, and the general audience who will read the DYK will find it easier to identify Charles V. Even the works I used as source (which mostly talk about Spain) use Charles V. For example Harvey (2005) has a footnote saying that while Charles V might appear in Spanish documentation as Charles I, "in a general work like this, the form that is widely more familiar has been preferred" and then use Charles V throughout. What do you think? HaEr48 (talk) 18:04, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
