  • Reviewed: Exempt (First DYK)

Improved to Good Article status by Sportsfan77777 (talk). Self-nominated at 10:59, 12 April 2020 (UTC).

  • Template:Question mark This hook seems to be misleading: reading that hook, I would imagine that she stopped playing in 2000 and then won the award post-career in 2017. What she actually did was not compete for 17 years (1999-2016), did compete in the 2017 season, and won the award that season. Also, probably easier to link to AFL Women's best and fairest rather than AFL Women's and Best and fairest separately. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:17, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Will do the rest of the review nevertheless:
  • ☑Y Article is long enough (41k characters), is a GA, nominated in time (GA on 9 April, nominated on 12 April) and article is within policy
  • ☑Y QPQ exempt as 0 previous nominations
  • Symbol question.svg This is a really interesting article, only issue that needs to be fixed is the hook. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:22, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the review, Template:U. I think I see what you mean. I added an updated version above. (Apologies if the comments are in the wrong place.) Sportsfan77777 (talk) 21:12, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
  • ☑Y ALT1 is short enough, interesting, well-cited and unambiguous
  • Symbol confirmed.svg Good to go now. Apologies for the delay- this slipped my mind. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:15, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
