De puinhopen van acht jaar Paars

Author of the book, Pim Fortuyn

  • Comment: Just realized the source may not be checkable by everyone, due to it being in Dutch. So here I'll provide translations of that inline reference source with Google Translate and with Bing Translator look for the word "lazy" ("lui" in Dutch). Cheers!—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 15:14, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg: creation date, length, and image license all check out. Copyvio check came back clean on references. I can only assume good faith as to the source since I cannot read Dutch and the context is difficult to ascertain due to the translation program. The word "claim" in the hook implies contention of the fact as to whether he wrote it or not. From what I have read in the article it does not appear that this was in any sort of contention and thus he would not need to make the distinction of a claim to clarify his stake in the book. I would recommend removing that particular word; the hook would still makes sense if "claims he" were removed. The "too lazy" statement should be in quotes in the hook. Otherwise a very handsome article. Mkdwtalk 06:56, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
How about that?—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 13:38, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg for ALT1. On a separate note, having read the article again, don't you think that him being assassinated two weeks following the release of the book is fascinating information for a a hook that might be more compelling? Just a thought but nothing wrong with ALT1. Mkdwtalk 18:30, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
Two months, not two weeks. But I'd rather not mention the assassination, since Fortuyn was not murdered for this book.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 10:36, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
