Cortana (software)

  • ... that Cortana correctly predicted the winners of the first 14 matches of the football 2014 FIFA World Cup knockout stage, including the semi-finals, before it incorrectly picked Brazil over the Netherlands in the third place play-off match? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link], or briefly cite, the source)

Improved to Good Article status by DatGuy (talk). Self-nominated at 10:49, 8 October 2016 (UTC).

  • ☑Y New enough (GA on 8 October, and nominated on same day), long enough, and article is within policy.
  • ☑Y Hook is short enough, interesting and supported by inline citations. I prefer ALT1 as it's more to the point. Not convinced it needs the word "football" in the hooks though (as I've now added links to 2014 FIFA World Cup knockout stage).
  • ☑Y QPQ exempt, as they have 0 previous DYK nominations.
  • Symbol confirmed.svg Overall, this nomination passes, congratulations. Joseph2302 12:20, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
