Symbol possible vote.svg I am concerned that some of the phrasing in this article may be too close to that of its sources. Compare for example "The heavily armed rebels poured out of the bus, destroying the checkpoint as more fighters arrived in a convoy of jeeps and pickup trucks and fanned out across the town" with "Heavily armed Islamist rebels poured out of the bus, destroying the checkpoint as more fighters arrived in a convoy of jeeps and pickup trucks and fanned out across the town". • Okay the article now reads "The battle began when rebel fighters, disguised as passengers on a public bus, infiltrated the town after passing a military checkpoint on the Konna-Gao road. After this, the bus was stopped at another checkpoint on the outskirts of Konna. As soldiers entered the bus to search it the Islamists opened fire, killing the soldiers. The heavily armed rebels exited the bus, and procedded to destroy the checkpoint as additional fighters arrived in a convoy of jeeps and pickup trucks and spread out across the town". Does this make any difference? Finnegas (talk) 12:58, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Er, not really, it's still almost the same (same stuff italics): "The heavily armed rebels exited the bus and proceeded to destroy the checkpoint as additional fighters arrived in a convoy of jeeps and pickup trucks and spread out across the town". You might also check whether any other material in the article has similar problems. Nikkimaria (talk) 13:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
Ok fail on that basis I have neither the time, desire or knowledge to improve/rewrite the entire article.Finnegas (talk) 22:46, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
