Band on the Run (song)

Improved to Good Article status by Beatleswhobeachboys (talk). Self-nominated at 16:40, 8 April 2015 (UTC).

  • The article meets the criteria but I just don't think it's interesting at all, and the context isn't clear, because the comment isn't in the hook. It's not particular attention grabbing and it doesn't teach me anything. The hook isn't focused enough either, because the lyric isn't included and neither is Harrison's comment. I think an alternate hook, or a more focused hook of the same idea, is needed. Symbol redirect vote 4.svg  — ₳aron 17:34, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Based on the above comment, a new reviewer isn't needed, but a new hook from the nominator. Leaving a note on the nominator's page in the hopes that a new hook will be offered. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:07, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
I changed the hook. Beatleswhobeachboys (talk) 13:17, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Symbol redirect vote 4.svg Since the initial comments make no sense without the original hook still there, I've restored it and labeled the new hook as ALT1, which is typical DYK labeling for additional/alternate hooks. ₳aron, can you please review the ALT1, and also be more specific about which criteria you checked? Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:05, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
  • I will, but I'm currently on holiday with limited Wi-Fi, so I will do it as soon as I can.  — Calvin999 12:56, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Symbol voting keep.svg This article was promoted to a GA on 7 April, and nominated the day after. It is plenty long enough for DYK. The hook fact for ALT1 is interesting, and appropriately cited in the article to an offline source, for which I will AGF. Most of the sources are offline, but checks on those online sources reveal no evidence of copyvio or close para-phrasing. Harrias talk 10:13, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
