Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015

  • Comment: My only contribution was adding citations and adding a bit more background. I don't think that's enough to require a QPQ.

  • Symbol question.svg Template:Ping DYK's rules recently changed so that every nomination (whether the nominator worked on the article or not) needs a QPQ, unless the user has fewer than five DYK credits. This means that you need to provide a QPQ regardless. 97198 (talk) 00:50, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Symbol question.svg The article is free of any copyright violations that I can find, the only similarities are to Wikipedia mirrors. It had a couple of cite issues, which I have fixed, with the exception of one CN tag for a minor point. It is neutral. It is new, and long enough. There is no image. My only quibbles are the following; the QPQ was rather perfunctory, causing another editor to step in; and the article is rather poorly structured. The headings are arbitrary, and details are in the wrong place; SBS is mentioned in the first body line without any explanation as to what it is, for instance. It could use a thorough copy-edit, by someone acquainted with the topic (ie not me). Vipersnake, you seem to have a few GAs; surely you could handle this. I would suggest structuring something like "background-Previous Aussie participation-2015 lineup," but of course I know very little. The hook is cited inline, but I am not a fan of the construction of any of them, so I would propose ALT3 which is simply a restatement of the others, and hence does not require a separate check;
ALT3 ... that Australia will participate in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, in honor of the competition's 60th edition?
ViperSnake151, if you fix the minor issues raised and are okay with ALT3, I can tick this. Vanamonde93 (talk) 05:10, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
I did. ViperSnake151  Talk  14:47, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
