Aran Bell

  • ... that ballet dancer Aran Bell portrayed Romeo in Romeo and Juliet when he was only 19? Source: "And on Wednesday afternoon, Aran Bell, at just 19, makes an important debut: as Romeo in Kenneth MacMillan’s production of “Romeo and Juliet.”" ([1])

  • Symbol confirmed.svg This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline and either hook could be used, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:59, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg These hooks mirror the one you wrote for Calvin Royal III. Is there anything else to say about these dancers other than their youth? Yoninah (talk) 23:47, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Template:Ping I see, it's just over 1500 characters. Is there any more detail you can add? By the way, the cites for the birth/death dates do not belong in the lead. Yoninah (talk) 00:01, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Template:U I expanded a little bit, it now has around 1700 characters. Corachow (talk) 16:23, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • OK, I found a source for his birth date. What do you think about this rewording of your ALT0 hook:
  • ALT0a: ... that at age 19, Aran Bell made his debut as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet as a member of the American Ballet Theatre's corps de ballet? Yoninah (talk) 17:10, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • OK, I did that, but tried to avoid a sea of blue with the name of the dance company. I also wonder what you think of more of a combination hook:
  • ALT3: ... that Aran Bell, who was profiled at age 11 in the dance documentary First Position, became a principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre at age 21? Yoninah (talk) 17:21, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Template:Ping This one seems good too! However, according to the New York Times review, he was 11 when the documentary was filmed. Corachow (talk) 17:25, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • I fixed it. Would you like another review? Yoninah (talk) 17:28, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Same. Thank you for the to hooks! Corachow (talk) 17:57, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Symbol voting keep.svg Approving ALT3, giving it an AGF tick because I can't access the New York Times source. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:54, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Here is the relevant text from the New York Times article:
  • Several children, including Aran Bell (11) and Michaela DePrince (14), could have been spun off into separate documentaries. Yoninah (talk) 16:18, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
