Symbol question.svg Substantial Good article, on excellent sources, Spanish and offline sources accepted AGF, The image is licences, not too clear in that size but still attractive. The hook is not, at least for me. That could be said about almost every volcanic field, no? How about something like "Andagua's surroundings are considered to be a typical expression of the volcanic field", with a link to the latter term which some readers may not know? - In the article: how about an infobox. That picture, in that size, shows almost nothing ;) - at least without context. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:38, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Template:PingMaybe, but it seems like most volcanic fields are not discussed in such terms. Perhaps one could derive something from the first sentence of Template:Tq? Like "...the Valley of the Volcanoes is full of lava flows and scoria cones (pictured)?" File:Valle de Los Volcanes-Springer (cropped).png is a cropped file that shows some cones and a lake more clearly. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:36, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Interesting, I took the sentence from the article. The ALT is promising, please word, with image, ready for a prep builder, and hopefully with a link to what scoria cones are, unless you think the image will do. We can never be sure an image suggestion will be taken. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:40, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Added it, but left in "landscape and scientific value" as it's more interesting that way. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 12:13, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Symbol voting keep.svg A nominator's wish is my command ;) - I approve both, because the first is the more attractive image, - I recommend that for me boring hook is only taken with the image, otherwise go for ALT1 (which I feel is not stronger with the addition, also probably needs a comma, but a nominator's wish ...). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:58, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
ps: If ALT1, the name Valley of the Volcanoes should appear in the article lead. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:00, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
