Amphiodia urtica

  • ... that the burrowing brittle star submerges itself in mud and raises its arms to feed? Source: "Lives in muddy areas, where it submerses itself in the mud and feeds by raising its arms and capturing particles from the water."

  • Symbol possible vote.svg Hi Cwmhiraeth, review follows: article created 20 February, article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; no copyright violation noticed from the two sources used; hook is interesting and cited in the article, backed up by the sources; one minor comment is that the hook uses "arms" which is used in the source but the article uses "rays". in understand these are the same thing but the article should mention "arms" in brackets or similar to make it clear to the reader; QPQ has been carried out - Dumelow (talk) 10:17, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
Template:Ping Thanks for the review. That anomaly struck me after I had made the nomination, but raising its arms sounded much better in the hook than raising its rays! I have changed the word used throughout the article accordingly. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:36, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg Thanks Cwmhiraeth. Agreed, arms sounds better - Dumelow (talk) 11:08, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
