Alma Lutz

Symbol confirmed.svg New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen check it here. QPQ done. Original hook it better. CrossTemple Jay 13:55, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

  • Symbol question.svg Hi, I came by to promote this, but do not see the ALT0 hook fact in the article at all. I added a "clarification needed" tag to this unusual expression: "women-committed women". I also removed the links from the book titles; it would be better to add a dash after each entry and say who the book is about, linking that description. Also please note that when clipping from Newspapers.com, you should add {{open access}} after the cite, as I did for you. Yoninah (talk) 22:57, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
Template:Y I think I have addressed all your point. Elisa.rolle
  • Template:Ping thank you for the fixes. I did some more editing on the Works section to pare the descriptions down; if people are interested in reading about these women, they can click on the links. I also removed the line about Berlin being close to Susan B. Anthony's birthplace per WP:UNDUE; it really has nothing to do with the subject of this article. I struck the first hook for that reason. IMO the ALT1 hook is not interesting to a broad audience; I personally have never heard of all these women. Do you have another hook suggestion? Maybe something about her being the biographer of famous women like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton? Note: Please remember to sign your posts with four tildes: ~~~~ so the date stamp will appear beside your signature. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 09:29, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Template:Y ALT2:... that Alma Lutz was the biographer of famous women's rights activists like Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Emma Willard? Source: Guide to the Alma Lutz Papers, 1912-1971". Vassar College - Archive & Special Collections Library ([3]) is it better? --Elisa.rolle (talk) 11:08, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Symbol confirmed.svg Yes, I think that's the hookiest thing we can take out of the article. I tweaked the hook slightly. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 18:10, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Unfortunately, with three prior DYK credits on Elisa.rolle's talk page, and two more nominations currently in prep sets, this nomination will require a QPQ review, since the five freebies will have been used up. Please provide one when you get the chance. (Contrary to the original review, a QPQ has not yet been done.) Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:57, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Symbol confirmed.svg QPQ in progress; just missing the image licensing (pinging Template:Ping), so this is good to go. Yoninah (talk) 14:42, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
