Ali Joego

Ali Joego

  • ... that Ali Joego was raised in Singapore, had a twenty-year career in the Indonesian film industry, yet was never famous?

  • Symbol voting keep.svg New enough, long enough, neutral. QPQ done. Hook fact cited. References accepted in good faith (I will have to learn Indonesian, it has a nice sound to it). I'm not sure the picture is free and it is such bad quality that he looks like he has some horrible disease, so I wouldn't use it. The original hook implies that being raised in Singapore somehow increases the likelihood that the person would become famous and "was never famous" begs the question "according to whom?", so I'd use the ALT. • Thanks for the review. Re: copyright of the image, it passed an image review at FAC here, and numerous images of similar licensing have passed similar reviews. It's a bit more complicated than the standard copyright notice, but it checks out. Agree that the quality is lacking, sadly.14:00, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
That's fair enough I was just erring on the safe side (I know only slightly more about image licensing than I do about Indonesian movies). If the image is used the alt text should say "I'm melting! Melting! Oh, what a world!"" Belle (talk) 15:06, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
I think, considering the film this is from, that his (blind) character is going "what have I done". But then when I went to Sinematek Indonesia last year, the film wasn't in viewing condition. Too damaged. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:07, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

Symbol voting keep.svg Still good to go. Belle (talk) 15:06, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
