Pictogram voting keep.svg that the sources support the text and no copyvios are present. I'm not an expert on the middle east and Syria, but what I did read appeared neutral and there are no comments on the talk page indicating problems with neutrality. Symbol confirmed.svg Images are all tagged with copyright tags and no issues there. Hook is properly formatted interesting given the subject. Inline citation supports the statement in the hook.
