Action at Sihayo's Kraal

  • ... that the Natal Native Contingent were clubbed with rifles by their non-commissioned officers to force them to advance during the Action at Sihayo's Kraal? ""despite the inspiring personal leadership of his NCOs, who tried to encourage their men to attack by beating them with clubbed rifles" from: Knight, Ian (1992). • Symbol question.svg Article is long enough, adequately sourced, and was nominated on the day it was moved to mainspace. A QPQ has been done. ALT1/ALT2 and ALT3 are the best hook choices; I am assuming good faith for ALT3's offline source. ALT1/ALT2 need a proper inline citation as the footnote for the Zulu quote comes not at the sentence mentioning it but the one after. Earwigs is currently down so I am unable to check for close paraphrasing. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:45, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi Narutolovehinata5, thanks for the review. I've added a duplicate ref for the "By whose orders do you come to the land of the Zulus?" quote - Dumelow (talk) 12:40, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
Sounds good. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 21:49, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi Narutolovehinata5, could you confirm if you are now happy to pass this nomination? Thanks - Dumelow (talk) 17:37, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
Symbol voting keep.svg I think we should be good to go now as the paraphrasing check passed and the citing has been fixed. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:32, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
