Abzurdah (book)

Argentine writer Cielo Latini
Argentine writer Cielo Latini

5x expanded by Cambalachero (talk). Self-nominated at 15:47, 21 October 2016 (UTC).

  • Symbol confirmed.svg The article has been fivefold expanded (from 317 to 1838, more than the 1585 needed), cites sources and within policy, is neutral, the hook is accurate and cited and QPQ is provided. The image is free, used in the article and show up well at small size (100 × 100px). Good to go. Javier Espinoza (talk) 00:39, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
Symbol redirect vote 4.svg Comment: This was a double nomination, for both the book and the author, but someone passed by and removed the bold of the author link. Both articles have to be reviewed. Cambalachero (talk) 02:03, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

::Symbol question.svg As for the Cielo Latini article, it is new and long enough, neutral and but the paragraph were the book is mentioned does not have a reference, can you add one?. Also, you have to review another article, (as it is 1 per nomination) and then we will be ready to go. Javier Espinoza (talk) 20:11, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

Symbol confirmed.svg I think is good to go. Javier Espinoza (talk) 01:22, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg I think the hook lacks interest. Yoninah (talk) 20:34, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
  • It's a book with a film adaption. Which is exactly the problem? Cambalachero (talk) 17:57, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Template:Ping How many clicks do you think this will get? If you think the film adaptation is hooky, then readers will probably click on that link, instead. What do you think about this alt? (though the last words aren't grammatical in English. I can't read the source; perhaps you can explain what "made an apology of anorexia" means. Could it be that the book "was apologetic about anorexia"?):
  • ALT1: ... that some reviewers of the 2006 Argentine book Abzurdah by Cielo Latini felt that it made an apology of anorexia?
  • Regarding the article Cielo Latini, it is not clear at all which film(s) you are discussing in the first sentences of the fourth paragraph under Biography. Yoninah (talk) 19:19, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Fixed. The second hook seems fine for me. Cambalachero (talk) 13:05, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Template:Ping Thank you for fixing the text in Cielo Latini. Regarding the ALT1 hook, as I said, "making an apology of anorexia" is not correct English. Do you mean:
  • ALT1a: ... that some reviewers of the 2006 Argentine book Abzurdah by Cielo Latini (pictured) felt it was apologetic about anorexia? Yoninah (talk) 22:14, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
  • ...and is this what it states in the foreign-language source? Yoninah (talk) 22:14, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

  • Yes.
  • Translation. The reporter asked "the book started a controversy: for some people it was an intelligent diagnosis, while others thought that it was apologetic of anorexia. How did you react to that?". She replied: "If you start reading a book about anorexia and become anorexic, you already had something latent. It is not that I convinced you. I'm just a girl. I can not influence someone into getting a disorder. It is not a lifestyle, it is a disorder. If someone got confused by reading the book, it is not up to me. I'm not going to start shooting after reading Agatha Christie". Cambalachero (talk) 13:07, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Symbol redirect vote 4.svg Great, thanks! Since I wrote ALT1a, calling on new reviewer to sign off on this nomination. Yoninah (talk) 19:19, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Symbol voting keep.svg Though a little puzzling, and therefore hooky, ALT1a seems good to me. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:32, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
