A. de Herz

  • ... that in 1919 Romanian playwright and librettist A. de Herz was court-martialed for an alleged collaboration with the Central Powers? Source: Boia, p. 339: "Cel mai rău au pățit-o ziariștii. 23 dintre ei au fost judecați—în februarie-martie 1919—de Curtea Marțială a Corpului II de Armată, pentru colaborare cu inamicul. 18 au fost achitați, printre ei și A. de Herz" ("The worst was to hit the journalists. 23 of them were tried—in February–March 1919—by the Court Martial of the Second Army corps, on charges of collaborating with the enemy. 18 were acquitted, among them A. de Herz").
    • ALT1:... that the Romanian journalist A. de Herz, tried for collaborating with the enemy during World War I, later co-wrote a revue for Josephine Baker? Source: as above for collaboration, and Molea, p. 92: "Dar acest an [1928] a intrat în conştiinţa bucureştenilor datorită prezenţei unei mari vedete internaţionale, negresa „răscolitoare de scandal” Josephine Baker. Ea a jucat în revista Negru pe alb, scrisă de A. de Herz (Puck), Nicolae Kiriţescu (Nick), şi Nicolae Vlădoianu (Keops)." ("But this year [1928] endures in the memory of Bucharesters because it showcased a great international star, the black lady 'who stirred up controversy' Josephine Baker. She appeared in the revuew Negru pe alb, written by A. de Herz (Puck), Nicolae Kirițescu (Nick), and Nicolae Vlădoianu (Keops).")

  • Symbol voting keep.svg 5x expanded, in time, long enough, sourced, inline hook citations accepted AGF, no apparent copyvios, QPQ done. Template:U, just a suggestion, but I don't think all the sections have to be subsections of "Biography," since it's already implied that they deal with periods in his life, and there's no text specific to the "Biography" section. Also, when you say "Herz verses first appeared," do you mean "Herz's verses first appeared"? --Usernameunique (talk) 08:04, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I am agnostic on the sections issue, but I tend to prefer the current layout for practical reasons (for instance, because should someone edit the article and add another section on, say, "Legacy", s/he might be spared heaving to change all the other headings to fit into a "Biography" section). On the other: yes, and thank you for noticing these typos! Dahn (talk) 08:09, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
