2015 Tour of California

Created/expanded by Mattsnow81 (talk). Self-nominated at 23:17, 22 May 2015 (UTC).

  • Symbol confirmed.svg This article is new enough and long enough. The hook fats are cited to a reliable source. (I wonder what a "bike throw" is, the term is used by both the article and the source?) The article is neutral and seems to be free of close paraphrasing. I do not believe that Mattsnow81 needs to do a QPQ review. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:27, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Would the term "bike lunge" be more clear? Mattsnow81 (Talk) 09:13, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Yes, "bike lunge" is clearer. If you could link the term to another Wikipedia article or glossary, even better. The second paragraph under Stage 2 and several paragraphs under Classification Leadership also require at least one cite, per Rule D2. Yoninah (talk) 22:24, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
  1. I've added a referenced definition of bike throw to the glossary of bicycling and linked it in the hook. I did not change it to 'bike lunge' since 'bike throw' is the wording used in all the references in the article about it.
  2. I've added a reference to the paragraph in the Stage 2 section you were talking about too.
  3. I can't reference every little paragraph in the Classification Leadership section though, because the only source is at the end of the section, and it is the Rules of the Tour of California itself. I could make a refname="Rules" and copy it everywhere in this section, but that would be silly. I think sometimes common sense should prevail over a rigid rule. • Symbol confirmed.svg OK, thanks. Restoring approval tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 08:36, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
