  • Symbol confirmed.svg Both articles are new enough, long enough, have a cited hook and are well sourced. I see no evidence of close paraphrasing. A couple of comments:
 Done — I have added detail to help readers visualize where the Imperial Valley is located. Dawnseeker2000 03:58, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
