Before you make your course page live, you'll need to let the rest of the Wikipedia community know about your course, and you'll need to be given the course instructor user right. Just click below and follow the instructions to post your request.
To make your course page live:

Add a short description of your course. Include basic information such as the topics you're covering, what students will be asked to do, and the types of articles your class will be working on. (Click to refresh if you've saved the course description but this message still appears.) |

The timeline is a list or table of the key due dates and the expected timeline for the Wikipedia-related assignment(s). This helps your students stay on track, and helps your ambassadors keep up with your class activities. Clicking the "Start from an example timeline" button will take you to a page with a sample timeline created by the Wikimedia Foundation. You can find more information about the thinking and experience behind this example assignment timeline in our Example Syllabus. Feel free to modify this template to meet your class's needs, or completely replace it with your own. If you don't want to use the boilerplate example timeline as a starting point, click "Start timeline from scratch" instead.
(Click to refresh if you've saved the timeline but this message still appears.) |

The grading rubric tells your students how you will be grading their assignments, and helps ambassadors know what areas to focus on when working with your students. Clicking the "Add Grading Rubric" button will take you to a page with a sample rubric created by the Wikimedia Foundation. Feel free to modify the rubric as you see fit, use it as-is, or replace it outright. (Click to refresh if you've saved the grading rubric but this message still appears.) |
