Usage
This template is a navigational tool between top-level professional league around the world in the 2009–10 season. A league must be professional or semi-professional and also be the top level of competition in the country in order to be included in this navigational template.
If the top league of a country – or group of countries in the case of a multinational league such as the National Hockey League or Kontinental Hockey League – falls during the southern hemisphere winter then both the 2009 and 2010 season should be included. See documentation of Australia already included in the template.
