Savage X Fenty
Savage X Fenty is a lingerie line founded by Rihanna in 2018.[1] Savage X Fenty is a joint venture between Rihanna and TechStyle Fashion Group and has an optional membership program.[2]
The brand's first fashion show was held at Brooklyn Navy Yard in 2019, as part of New York Fashion Week. The second show, Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2, aired on Amazon Prime Video on October 2, 2020.[3]
Achievements
In 2018, Rihanna received praise after her New York Fashion Week Savage x Fenty lingerie show, which featured People of Color and two pregnant models in addition to a range of models of varying body shapes and sizes.[4]
In October 2020, Rihanna gained another praise for showcasing her latest Savage X Fenty lingerie collection with diverse male models in the show and on the website. The menswear capsule collection dropped online after the singer’s Savage X Fenty Vol 2 lingerie fashion show aired on Amazon Prime Video and drawn attention for their new range of boxers modelled by plus-size black male models.[5] The show was also praised for featuring black breast cancer survivors as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month and to benefit Clara Lionel Foundation.[6]
