Pixi was founded in London in 1990 by the Swedish-born Petra Strand, and its historical flagship store is a lovely corner in the heart of Soho, in the trendiest street of the British Capital. The packaging, composed by soothing and relaxing stem-greens, gold and pastel pink, has become a visual declaration of intents for Pixi, expressing a brand that is altogether simple and up-to-date. Over the years, the brand has been discovered and loved by many stars, from Oprah Winfrey to Pixie Lott: it has received various nominations and awards and kept raising the hype in the beauty industry, which recently showed a renovated interest in Skincare.[1]
Pixi Skincare is focused on getting—and more importantly, maintaining—that glow. According to reps from the brand, "Petra formulates our products using the best natural ingredients, combined with cutting edge technology. These synergistic blends of ingredients are found across families of products and create a whole routine from cleanser/tonic, all the way through to your serums and moisturizers."[2]

Supports to Black Lives Matter

Pixi Instagram post to support Black Lives Matter

Pixi Beauty announced during Black Lives Matter movement that they are making a donation to Color Of Change. The charity works to create 'campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward. Until justice is real.'

Pixi also posted the below statement confirming their support for the BLM movement:

'What affects one impacts everyone, whether directly or indirectly, and we stand alongside those fighting against injustice and racial discrimination. At Pixi, we believe in equality for all.

'We hear you, we see you and we support you.

'We are making a donation to @ColorOfChange to support their efforts. We believe in positive change and encourage you to join us in listening, learning and actively working towards a better world.

'Everyone has a responsibility to stand up, be heard and be the change, it cannot come soon enough.'[3]
