Nails Inc

Nails Inc. is a London, England-based nail bar chain with 10 outlets across the United Kingdom. Founded by Thea Green MBE in 1999, Nails.INC has quickly become one of the most innovative independent beauty businesses on the market. The journey began when Thea was traveling back and forth from the US and spotted a gap for speedy efficient manicures complete with a fashionable, high-quality nail polish.[1]

The company has concessions within key retailers, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Fenwick, and is available to buy in John Lewis, Sephora, Boots and Superdrug. Nails Inc nail bars are famed for their walls of nail polish. There are 100 colours in total in the Nails Inc colour 'library', all manufactured in Britain, and all named after London streets and boroughs.[2]

Support to Black Lives Matter

Following widespread protests in the U.S. and across the world over the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis, Nails.INC, shared a message with it’s followers on Instagram that it will donate all U.S. profits from www.nailsinc.com to the Black Lives Matter foundation for the entire month of June. Nails.INC shared the names and website links of five other organizations "focused on combating racial injustice" in its Instagram post: the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Minnesota Freedom Fund, Black Visions Collective, Brooklyn Community Bail Fund, and Women For Political Change.[3]

“We stand with the fight against systemic racism. During the month of June, we will be donating 100% of all US profits from nailsinc.com to @blklivesmatter. We are incredibly proud to work with hugely inspirational talent from the black community. We see you, and we stand with you.”

“For the past 21 years, Nails.INC has always stood for diversity and inclusion. We have worked hard to ensure that all Nails.INC products are truly for everyone and are incredibly proud to work with hugely inspirational talent from the black community. We are also encouraging our community to join in the fight against racial injustice and are actively sharing other organisations to support.”[4]
