Feeld (previously called 3nder) is a location-based social discovery service application for iOS and Android that facilitates communication between people interested in polyamory, kink, swinging, and other alternative sexual preferences such as more than one partner at once. 3nder was launched in the UK in July 2014 and in the US in 2015. As of August 1, 2016, it had had over 1.6M downloads on iOS. A major update to the interface was released December 2017.[1]

Feeld was founded by two people who inspired each other to change the world. Dimo and Ana had been together for two years when Ana uneasily admitted she also had feelings for a woman. Unsettled that something so human could provoke fear and confusion, Dimo created Feeld – a space where people like him and Ana could date as a couple and meet like-minded humans. Today, Feeld is on a mission to open up the future of human connection through normalising sexual desire.[2]

Feeld Guide on how to be anti-racist on dating apps

On their website, Feeld shared a guide on how to be anti-racist on dating apps as below,

  • Understand, accept and utilise your privilege
  • Learn about anti-Blackness and your place in it
  • Interrogate your ‘preferences’
  • Educate yourself
  • Centre consent always
  • Be kind
  • Report racist behaviour

Feeld encourage their user to report if they come across any racism and targeted harassment, especially if they encounter it during a chat exchange. They ask them to be vigilant and take this on so that Black people and people of colour do not have to do it alone. Feeld takes this extremely seriously and do not tolerate any form of racism on their platform.[2]
