Review of Ode de Pougy
Article is new enough (Dec. 17), long enough (3000), neutral, cites sources, and appears free of copyright concerns (AGF, as while it passes the Earwig check, some sources are in French, which I cannot read). There is a valid QPQ that can be applied, Template:Did you know nominations/Angela Palacious.
Review of Notre Dame aux Nonnains
Article is new enough (Dec. 17-18), long enough (8000), neutral, cites sources, and appears free of copyright concerns (AGF, as while it passes the Earwig check, some sources are in French, which I cannot read). There is a valid QPQ, Template:Did you know nominations/Ismail Pasha al-Azm
Review of Manassès II de Pougy
Article is new enough (Dec. 18), long enough (barely, at 1700), neutral, cites sources, and appears free of copyright concerns (AGF, as while it passes the Earwig check, all of the sources are in French, which I cannot read). There is a valid QPQ that can be applied, Template:Did you know nominations/Wildlife of Laos
Review of Church of St Urbain
Article is new enough (Dec. 16-17), long enough (10k), neutral, cites sources, and appears free of copyright concerns (AGF, as while it passes the Earwig check, some sources are in French, which I cannot read). There is not a valid QPQ, as Template:Did you know nominations/Seoul Independent Film Festival is not a full review (did not touch on the entire checklist).
Review of shared elements (hook, image)
Image is free, used in the article, and captioned. Hook is probably fine, but should still be revised. The articles read that Ode was excommunicated for violently attempting to block construction of the Church of St Urbain, with only some of the four specifically touching on the incident at the consecration of the cemetery. Would suggest
Summary
Symbol question.svg All articles are each fine individually, but collectively they're short one QPQ. Hook is passable, but would be stronger if it was revised to more closely reflect what the articles state the reason of Ode's excommunication to be. Template:Ping As the editor guilty of starting them, I thank you for wading through these four articles. Template:Did you know nominations/Seoul Independent Film Festival may take a while to clear. I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Bionade-Biedermeier for the missing QPQ. I think Blofeld's original hook is a bit more interesting than ALT1. It seems from the sources that the incident with the Archbishop of Tyre was the last straw that triggered the excommunication, although all the other disruption was brought up in the Pope's message.
A minor variant ("after" rather than "for" would be ALT2 below:Aymatth2 (talk) 15:49, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick response Aymatth2. A couple of things:
For a QPQ to be "complete", it doesn't need to be closed (i.e. a final tick or an X), it just needs to be a full review (checking compliance for all seven items in the group notice). For example, my initial review of this nomination, which ended in a question mark icon, was a "complete" review.
We're now fine on the QPQ requirement, so if Template:U does a complete review of Seoul Independent Film Festival, he can apply that as a QPQ for a different nomination.
ALT2 checks out. It is in the Ode de Pougy article, where it's properly cited. I'm not sure whether the hook fact has to appear in all four articles or if it only needs to appear in one, but if it does need to be in all four, the article on Manassès II de Pougy is the only one that doesn't mention that Ode was excommunicated.
Symbol confirmed.svg All criteria are now accounted for, so this is good to go. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 23:29, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
