Usage
Use on user pages or user talk pages when people shouldn't expect them to be answered quickly. When using simply {{off wiki Covid 19}}, the template produces the message above
Parameters
There is one unnamed parameter, which will replace "this user" with the name placed.
IE {{off wiki Covid 19|He}} produces
.svg) | He is on a wikibreak due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries. |
Optional parameters
- end, use to specify until when you will be off-wiki.
IE {{off wiki Covid 19|end=Monday evening (UTC)}} produces
| This user is on a wikibreak until Monday evening (UTC) due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries. |
- msg appends any custom message at the end.
IE {{off wiki Covid 19|msg=Wash your hands!}} produces
| This user is on a wikibreak due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries.Wash your hands! |
- small will display the small version of this box,
IE {{off wiki Covid 19|small=yes}} produces
| This user is on a wikibreak due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries. |
- descriptor, use to specify an alternative to "off-wiki".
IE {{off wiki Covid 19|descriptor=supporting family}} produces
| This user is supporting family due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries. |
Sample using all parameters
{{off wiki Covid 19|Johnny Doe|descriptor=at hospital|end=April 2|msg=You can still use the email function to reach me.}} produces
| Johnny Doe is at hospital until April 2 due to COVID-19 and may not respond swiftly to queries.You can still use the email function to reach me. |
