This is an inline Featured Content template, for use in user- and project-space lists of articles (or images, or whathaveyou). {{FC inline}} also redirects here.

Usage
It can be used just to generate the FA icon with a link to Wikipedia:Featured articles, and can also be given parameters to name the article (or list or whatever), to specify the time of featured content, and/or to give the date of promotion to FA (FL, etc.).
Parameters
|1=
a.k.a.|article=
(or first unnumbered parameter) – The name of the article; it will be linked for you.|2=
a.k.a.|date=
(or second unnumbered parameter) – The date of promotion to Featured, in whatever format is preferred|3=
a.k.a.|type=
(or third unnumbered parameter) – The type of featured content; must be the last word of the link to the FC page in question, and defaults toarticles
for Wikipedia:Featured articles. As of this writing, other valid values are:lists
,pictures
,portals
, andtopics
.
