When adding new chains to this template, please follow these guidelines:
- Global chains are defined as having locations in at least three countries.
- Regional chains are defined as having locations in a single country, or two adjoining countries, e.g., U.S. and Canada.
- When adding a two-digit country code after the chain's name, do not include every country the chain operates in. Only include the country the company is based in. E.g. - A chain is based in the UK with locations in Ireland, France and Germany. In this example, you would put
[[British Chicken]] (UK) in the template but not [[British Chicken]] (UK, IR, FR, DE)
- Please do not add chains that have less than a hundred or so locations.
- This template should only include chains that are national or are in a sizable region of a country. For example, if a chain has only a few locations in a single U.S. state, it should not be included.
- Please only include chains that have an article on Wikipedia, do not add red links or external links.
