Purpose
To apply a text tag to articles where the 1912 supplement to the DNB has been used as a point of reference for constructing the article.
Usage
There are two methods to apply:
Method one: Plain
The template without any parameters:

produces:This article incorporates text from a publication now in the public domain: Dictionary of National Biography (2nd supplement). London: Smith, Elder & Co. 1912. Missing or empty

Method two: Piped
The template with one parameter (pipe symbol and article name) that links to the associated article at Wikisource's Dictionary of National Biography, 1912 Supplement:
{{DNB12|wstitle=Perowne, Edward Henry}}
produces:This article incorporates text from a publication now in the public domain: "Perowne, Edward Henry". Dictionary of National Biography (2nd supplement). London: Smith, Elder & Co. 1912.
Hidden category
This template includes one of two hidden subcategories of category Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the Dictionary of National Biography. If a "Piped" template is used, Category:Articles incorporating DNB12 text with Wikisource reference is included. If a "plain" template is used, Category:Articles incorporating DNB12 text without Wikisource reference is included. In either case the category does not appear at the bottom of the article page, but the article is listed on the category page.
