 | This is a documentation subpage for Template:FIS. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Template:FIS displays an external link to an International Ski Federation (Fédération Internationale de Ski) web page for a skier.
Usage
Required fields
{{FIS|S=sector|ID=competitorid}}
S=
As specified in portion of URL after sector=, such as:
data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/athlete-biography.html?sector=AL&competitorid=125871&type=result
- AL = Alpine
- CC = Cross Country
- JP = Jumping
- NK = Nordic
- FS = Freestyle
- SB = Snowboard
- SS = Speed Skiing
- GS = Grass
- TM = Telemark
ID=
As specified in portion of URL after competitorid=, such as:
data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/athlete-biography.html?sector=AL&competitorid=125871&type=result
Optional fields
{{FIS|S=sector|ID=competitorid|name=competitor name|note=note}}
name=
If used, replaces the title of the article as the link text. This can be used if the name of the article includes disambiguation [e.g. Bill Johnson (skier)] or if the name on the FIS website is spelled differently [e.g. Bjørn Dæhlie].
note=
If used, displays a note after the link. For samples, see Birger Ruud [as multiple profiles are listed, specifying which one], Anfisa Reztsova [noting wrong DOB].
Example
For Lara Gut, the page is at:
data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/athlete-biography.html?sector=AL&competitorid=125871&type=result
This converts to
{{FIS|S=AL|ID=125871}}
and displays as:
Lara Gut at the International Ski Federation
