Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

Lua error in Module:Lua_banner at line 113: attempt to index field 'edit' (a nil value).

This template allows a user to signal their awareness of the discretionary sanctions system, so that it is not necessary to warn them. This possibility was enacted by motion of the Arbitration Committee in July 2019.

Usage

Towards the top of your own talk page, add:

{{Ds/aware|topic_code}}

where topic_code identifies the discretionary sanction topic(s) for which you assert awareness, and thus waive the need for notice.

You can specify multiple topics; select them from the full list of topic codes. For example:

{{Ds/aware|ap|e-e|gg}}

displays

Then, if another editor tries to warn you about discretionary sanctions in the relevant topics, they will see:

Script error: No such module "Ds/aware".

within the output of Special:AbuseFilter/602, Mediawiki:Abusefilter-warning-DS.
