Template:Underused external link template
This citation template can be used to cite data found on the Peakfinder website.
Usage
A search engine for peaks can be found here.
Parameter | Value |
---|---|
{{cite peakfinder | id = | name = | subject = | access-date = }} |
Feature id Feature name Use "peaks" for peak, "ranges" for mountain range, "passes" for mountain pass, "people" for a person. Full date |
The id must be entered exactly as it appears at the top of the web page. The access-date is optional. The subject is optional and defaults to "peaks" if not specified.
Unnamed parameters are allowed but not recommended as it makes future changes to the template more difficult to implement. The subject cannot be specified as an unnamed parameter so unnamed parameters can only be used for mountain peaks.
Examples

- {{cite peakfinder |id=1175 | name=Mount Robson |access-date=2010-02-18}} → "Mount Robson". PeakFinder.com.
